Grounded Approaches
Wellness Services Approaches
Wellness Services are grounded in four interconnected approaches that work together to address the whole person and the whole community.
Conduct culturally appropriate, trauma-informed community outreach programs to educate on the benefits of the human-animal bond.
Promote mental health through dog training programs like "Release a Leash."
Establish mobile clinics and telehealth services to reach underserved populations.
Partner with established local organizations to provide comprehensive healthcare services.
Use Community Health Workers, SB803 Peer Navigators, and Credible Messengers to assist clients in maintaining positive ties to the community.
Foster collaborations with community leaders and organizations.
Organize events and workshops to build community support networks.
Build trust and rapport by working with community members to help them arrive at their own conclusions and solutions.
Implement environmentally friendly practices in service delivery.
Promote sustainable living and environmental stewardship within the community.
